Whatever thought or feeling you project into the universe, it will be brought back to you. This is the essence of the law of attraction. 1. The Law of Manifestation

Think of yourself as a fiction writer. Whatever story you think about in your head – any event – becomes true for your character. The same is true for you. Instead of being at the mercy of a writer, you are the one who writes your own story. You write it just by thinking your thoughts. The Law of Manifestation makes your thoughts real.

So be careful what you “write” – because good or bad, the Law of Manifestation manifests it every time.

2. The Law of Unwavering Desire

If you want something so purely and completely and you believe with all your heart that you deserve it, that you must have it, then you can only be sending out the right vibrations for the universe to receive and send back to you. Let no fear or doubts hold you back.

3. The Law of Delicate Balance

Desperation is a negative emotion; and when you are desperate to have something, you may be sending out the wrong signals. It may seem like a contradiction to Law # 2, where desiring is beneficial to the attraction of positive energy towards yourself; but these 2 cases are different. You must strike a delicate balance between the dream you hope to come true, and living contentedly in the moment. Do not make your goal the singular object of your desire that you neglect all other aspects of your life. Just know that it will happen in time and that, while waiting, you need not be so despondent.

4. The Law of Magnetism

In school we were taught that opposite poles attract and like poles repel each other. Not so in this case. Energy is as pervasive as air. It is all around us, even within us, and we ourselves radiate energy, though often we aren’t even aware of it. But what we must know is that whatever kind of energy we emit—whether positive or negative—is the same kind we attract as it returns to us from the universe. What goes around comes around, as the saying goes.

5. The Law of Synchronization

The universe has much to offer in terms of gifts and gains. These fruits are yours for the taking, if you but align yourself and be in close harmony with the ‘Giver.’ Do not fight the flow or resist the order of things. You are part of a greater whole, not a separate entity; to throw yourself into this realm and bask in it is not only a duty but a birthright.

6. The Law of Universal Influence

Do not take the tiniest of actions for granted. Even the most seemingly harmless of deeds can have influence, for we are all connected and, therefore, what I do affects you to a certain extent, and vice versa. Since you are practically glowing with energy, which vibrates and is carried out into the world, it follows that others will pick up on it and be impacted by it. So exude only the positive.

7. The Law of Conscientious Action

Much like the principle of karma, this Law of Attraction follows the rule, “What you sow, you shall reap.” Carry yourself with dignity and act only in a way that is honorable—to yourself and to others—and the rewards will be plenty.

The first step in utilizing the law of attraction in your own life, I have learned, is first by taking ownership of prior mistakes. Next is identifying what exactly it is that you really want while keeping out all thoughts about what you do not want. Identifying what a person wants as opposed to what they do not want is a major difference when taking the imperative steps towards happiness and well-being. Years ago I remember focusing simply on the negative. I would only focus on what I did not want to happen. The result that I experienced was in most cases the negative. The one thing I did not want at all. Why me? I would ask emphatically. This is unfortunately something that most people have experienced in their lives many times.

How can we alleviate such negative outcomes in our lives? There’s only one answer to that. You guessed it. We must always force ourselves to focus on the positive outcome in order to achieve the outcome we all desire. I am still appalled at my mindset in my early days just out of college and trying to make those first million dollars I thought I would make within a few years just to pay off those credit card bills. But, that unfortunately did not happen. It took a lot of negative experiences and not-so-good outcomes to realize that something had to change in my life. I honestly believe every single person who has every lived in this world would be able to relate to exactly what I am saying. Some may not admit to it, but most I believe will.

Admitting my faults was the first thing I realized I needed to do. Admit that I was not right all the time even if it was my own life. After that first painful step of admittance is overcome, the world is your oyster. Not only do we have to admit our faults and believe in ourselves endlessly, but we all must continue to educate ourselves and allow our minds to grow. It seems our minds are endless and as we proceed further and further down the path of happiness, so does our mentality. It all evolves into a much more forgiving, compassionate and powerful state of being. I am truly amazed at what a person can achieve once they realize the untapped power they actually do have inside themselves. Admittance is the key which unlocks all the doors to happiness. The longer we hold in the negativity and do not take ownership of the negative things that occur in our lives as our own manifestations, the longer it will take to achieve true happiness. This I strongly believe and witness daily in those who share this state of being and belief in themselves and the law of attraction that helps guide their very souls to truth and abundance.

Recently a woman hit another person’s car in a parking lot here in L.A. The funny thing is that the person who actually hit the car happened to be famous and decided to look at her own car and move along. She allegedly did not even regard the other individual’s car, which had been parked simply because she needed to get some shopping done at the strip mall. The famous person went along her merry way and was captured by the paparazzi and now is being charged for hit-and-run. So, what is the matter with some people? Did we as the public do this to them or did they do this to themselves? My own personal belief is that, you got it, she did it to her self.

This is yet another case of the law of attraction at its finest. Now I am not saying I have been side-by-side with this particular individual nor have I been inside her head, but one thing is for sure, there is a lot of negativity surrounding this girl daily. Why would this be? She can’t possibly be focusing on just bad things happening! Right, but in many cases a person could not be focusing on anything positive at all and bringing all the lovely negativities in life right to their doorstep. How does a person change this?

People can change their negative experiences by, oh yeah, focusing on positive outcomes. Things people want are what they need to focus on. But what one DOES with these new opportunities is another story. We need to be ready to accept new opportunities reflecting what we have been focusing on as they come or they may very well disappear. One thing I would like to mention about what one person told me about the law of attraction is that “if you think about it long enough and hard enough it will become an actual thing!” Okay smarty pants, I want a money tree to pop out of my dresser in my bedroom. I am not ridiculing anyone I am merely stating that the opportunities the law of attraction brings upon you need to be…ACTED upon. Yes! People need to take action in order to get the outcome they so desire.

I work in Hollywood and have always had quite a time gaining access to ANYTHING in the business, but I have gotten through the doors I had focused on and succeeded. Now I am involved in other interests as well like this writing here. I read constantly and understand a lot of the principles that are the hot selling item out there. In reference to many of the ‘get rich quick’ programs out there, I really do not like the way they make people pay and pay only to make the person more needy when the answers are right there before their very eyes. Gain the knowledge, focus, and take ACTION. Ok well it’s time to go, got to get to Malibu.

There is a person many of us know. They act very ignorant and spiteful towards other people, including their own family. They know they are always, not just some of the time but, always, right. No one wants to be around them, but they do give them attention simply because they are ‘family’. They have married into the family as an in-law and have been such a pain ever since. Many of us have already experienced this, many have fortunately not. But for those of us who have, we always go back to the same thought in reference to this particular person. That ever lasting wonder of “how in the world could any human being act like such a jack ass?” Now I am now calling anyone names, I am merely stating the very first thing it seems this particular person acts like.

How does this behavior become so strong that it takes over their entire character even though no one wants to be even 5 feet away from them in a room? This particular person I have noticed likes to only focus on the things that are going wrong in his life. He does not show any form of appreciation for good deeds done for him, he just sees where they ‘messed up’. As you can see, this person is applying the law of attraction like a master! I do kid a bit when I say that, but yes, he seems to have mastered attracting bad things. And at first glance it seems this is what he wants, but that is very doubtful. When a person focuses their mind and energy on anything and make that thought the dominant thought, it becomes a reality. Wow! This is great, but I thought we were talking about ‘Jack’.

The law of attraction is unbiased. It can be good for yourself, or it can be rather bad. This is simply because our minds do not know the difference between good and bad. Our minds simply see a picture or thought and work like crazy just to make sure that thought becomes a reality.

Jack has mastered this technique. He has successfully found a way to focus every waking moment (as well as sleep time, it seems) to think of every terrible thing that he does NOT want to happen only to wake up and find that all he did not want became a reality. Jack is a very disappointed person. His disappointment leads him to anger and resentment. He blames it all on his family and friends and *poof!* the LOA genie grants his wishes! Only these wishes have residuals! Now this guy is in a tailspin. How can he help this? Just turn off bad thoughts and pretend they are not there just to see everything fall apart? This is definitely something a person of this nature would think, which is obviously attracting more negative.

The thing I have found that is the best way to get out of a bad day is just to accept the bad day for what it is and refer to is as an education. Yes! An education. If something happened that was undesired, we must have made an not-so-preferred choice somewhere down the line that lead to this outcome. Getting out of a bad day rut can be quite draining, but all of us can do it. Just a couple of days ago as I was driving to the set a rock hit my windshield on the far left side and made a crack stretch about ten inches across my windshield. The funny thing about this is that this is the third rock to damage my windshield in six months. Ok smarty, where’s YOUR lesson? Unfortunately, I am not able to stop flying rocks on the 405 freeway, but I can avoid flying negative thoughts bolting towards my psyche. This is definitely a tough thing to do for me since this kind of stuff really can ruin your day. But I was not going to let this little piece of gravel was not going to ruin a thing. I just relaxed and tried to visualize a new windshield that would not cost $800.

As I walked into work I recalled an old friend who owned a body shop in North Hollywood who used to lend me a hand and really helped out with my car repairs years ago during a really drawn out struggle in life and I thought I would give him a call. I am very thankful that I did, because this old friend I had not spoken to in a long while was getting married that Saturday and I was able to give him my regards and attend his wedding. He thought I had just moved into another area or just left and gone away like many in this city. I may have moved and had become much busier, but I was never too busy for an old friend who helped me get through the really tough times in life. Just being around for his wedding meant a lot to him and I feel as though if it was not for the rock on the windshield, he would have never thought I even cared. I just wish I could have had that invitation forwarded to my new address.

If we change our outlook on our past experiences, is it possible that our desires will come quicker to us through the Law of Attraction? Your past experiences are a direct link to what you are experiencing today.

We all have past experiences that affect our lives. When we think back about a wonderful thought in our childhood, we feel secure and happy. But when we think on a past experience that was traumatic, we feel insecure and upset. In the Law of Attraction, the more you focus on a particular thought and feeling, the quicker the Universe will attract what you are emitting back to you.

When you focus on anything for a period of time, the subject of your focus begins to have a life of its own. As you focus and feel more and more on the same want or desire, the Universe takes its cue and brings what you are feeling focusing on to you. For example: Let’s say you had a relationship trauma as a young adult. Even though you are an older adult now, you still think about that experience. It was a time that was hurtful to you so every time you begin to attract a serious relationship, you discover that you can’t help but think, focus on, and return to that one terrible experience. But the more and more you think on and feel that experience, the more you will attract that kind of experience back into your life.

Why do you think people tend to repeat negative behavior patterns? They continue over and over again to relive past experiences, and when you do that, the Universe sends more of it to you. The Universe isn’t being unkind; the Universe is doing its job. It’s taking its cue from you through what you focus on and feel strongly about.

So how does one stop the repetitive thoughts and feelings? By starting new as often as you have to. Yesterday is a closed book. You don’t have to relive past experiences. When you think of a past experience that may not have been pleasant, do your best to separate from the experience itself while learning what you want or don’t want from that experience. Then let the experience go. It served its purpose but you can let it go. You are hurting your own self by hanging on to it. If you find it isn’t easy for you to let go, then play this game with yourself: When that traumatic experience surfaces in your memory, change the experience to what you would have wanted it to be. Take the whole situation and visualize how you wish it would have happened. By doing this, you can change your focus to the positive (as well as your feelings) and you will be creating better days for the future. By changing the past, even if it is only within your mind, something miraculous happens. Your heart becomes freer because of the hope of what could have been, and you create wonderful feelings about a situation that was once a negative focus for you. When you create those great feelings, your tomorrows will become days of ease and security.

By focusing on the joyous moments and gratitude now, you will bank good feelings that the Universe will work towards bringing to you. When you close the book of Yesterday, especially on the past’s not so great experiences, you will find that life becomes much smoother and easier.

But what about the wonderful experiences of the past? Wonderful past experiences are good ways to get the ‘happy’ thoughts going. Use the experiences for the good feelings generated from them.

What we do is this: We take a past experience and capture the feelings, not the experience, and then transfer the good feelings to what we currently want out of life. By using this method, you will have a great emotion attached to a current-day-focus that will be your true experience in your future.

Use this method to give up the hurtful past and then concentrate on a beautiful tomorrow for yourself and your loved ones. It works!

The Law of Attraction will bring you what you strongly believe in.

Do you really know who you are? We are each made up of numerous belief patterns that have been instilled in us since we were children. Whether it is through family or environment, it doesn’t matter how the patterns were formed, and it doesn’t have to have originated from family or environment. It can be as simple as how you happen to perceive something. But no matter where or who your belief patterns come from, it’s important to define you within the beliefs that you once thought were yours. We call this Deconstructing the Self.

There are some beliefs that serve you well, for instance the beliefs that don’t make you feel bad about yourself or a particular subject. If you have a healthy view on money, feel you deserve money, and it flows steadily to you, then most likely your belief about money is working for you. On the contrary, perhaps you have problems with health or relationships; you may have a belief that is not working for you. You must get to the bottom of that particular belief so that you can deconstruct yourself and discover what is causing the unsteady flow. Once you’ve done that, you can reconstruct a belief system that truly works well for you. You will fast notice that when you do this, all of your troubles will melt away.

For example: Let’s say you are always under the weather. You suffer from sinus allergies and no matter what you do you just can’t get them to go away. When you call your mom for the hundredth time to complain, she sympathizes and tells you that ever since you were little you suffered with your allergies and reminds you that she just knew that you would never get over them. You’ve been hearing this since you were a young child and somehow it comforts you. You happened to remember your cousin faking sickness for attention, and she would get it, and when you were small, you loved the idea of so much attention. So in your perception from long ago, you recalled that being sick results in attention.

Now, fast forward adulthood. Without being aware of it, you very possibly have trained your subconscious to get sick to get attention. You even, after all these years, are able to grab Mom’s full attention because you are sick. But is this how you want attention? By figuring out where and what your beliefs currently are, you can let past methods go and then figure out what it is you really want to believe. In this case, you would say to yourself: “I am healthy and well. I can enjoy attention in other ways. I don’t have to be sick to get attention.” This is reconstructing a new belief.

It may feel awkward to even think that believing another way is even possible, but obviously the old belief wasn’t working for you or you wouldn’t be seeking the Law of Attraction. Once you get to the bottom of your core beliefs, and why they are there, followed by reconstructing a belief that feels right and works for you, you will begin to obtain what you desire. In the case of the example above, it would be health, but the method works for correcting any other life challenge you may be facing.

Truly, this method can work for any part of your life; health, relationship, money, career, and anything else you can think of, big or small. Examine the old belief that is stopping you from getting what you want out of life. Put together a new belief system that works for you because, as we all know, with the Law of Attraction everything is possible by feeling, thinking, and focusing on what you desire. By changing your old beliefs into new ones that actually work for you, you will have jumped the major hurdle that has likely been holding you back.

Focus on what you want, not on what you don’t want, and break down the doors of your old negative thought patterns. Build your own pattern of positive beliefs; you’ll be glad you did through the Law of Attraction.

Can words keep you from obtaining what you desire through the Law of Attraction? It all depends on how you use your words.

Words, of themselves, won’t keep you from your desires but the feelings attached to them can.

There are many words that we say with such strong emotional attachment that they cause an upheaval in one’s feelings that are a complete opposite of the feeling you want while trying to stay in a certain vibrational space.

These specific ‘lack’ words cause you to feel worry, doubt, fear, shame, afraid, and frustrated. Each word exudes a feeling and the feeling caused is the concern with the use of these lack words. They are just words, but with the emotion attached they become extremely powerful.

Any emotion that you have, whether it is joyous or angry, sends the Universe that vibration and the Universe will match and return that vibration with similar ‘feeling’ situations. So when you send out a feeling of happiness, the Universe will attract and return to you the same feeling. The same goes for anger. When you are angry and stay that way, the Universe attracts the same. So you can imagine what the ‘lack’ words can cause in your life if you ‘feel’ them as well as say them.

Let’s illustrate an example. Imagine you are driving to work and someone cuts you off. You become irritated. You then get stuck in traffic and become more frustrated. Have you noticed that when you have a day that starts this way, the rest of the day seems to follow suit? This is the Law of Attraction in action. Because of your irritation and frustration, because of those strong feelings, you attract more of the same.

So how can you keep from blowing your top? It does takes some practice, and a complete awareness of yourself.

If you find yourself in a negative situation that is attached to strong feelings, first try to shorten the use of the lack words. We’re not saying you shouldn’t get upset; feel how you have to feel and then get it together and get it over with. Next, realize and be aware of your feelings and know that if you keep it up, you will attract more of the same. Find yourself some joy. Whatever it is, find it. If you are on the freeway stuck in traffic, do something that will put you in a better space; maybe bring your favorite CD in the car for such an occasion. Find something to raise your mind’s vibration so that you move away from the frustrated feelings. The more you can change your feelings into something good, the more you will have a life of good things, situations, and people.

Believe it or not, there are people who like to be upset and be drama queens. If that’s the case then continue with the ‘lack’ words and keep creating a world fit for all that drama.

For those of you who want to diminish the ’seemingly bad’ days and move into a place of greater tranquility, try what we have suggested. Move yourself out of the victim mode, move yourself out of the martyr mode, move yourself out of the frustration mode, and move yourself into a greater awareness.

You make the choice whether to have a good day or a bad day. Even if your day starts a little rocky and all those ‘lack’ words start popping up, you have the choice and the power to instantly change your day.

Use that power, use the choice, and create the day that you deserve.

I have this family member that no matter what is happening in his life, he complains. Whether he has a good day or a bad day, he lets everyone know how bad his life is, and it continues to be just as he says. He lets you know about every person in his life that has let him down. Everyone else is responsible for all his woes.

Being a Law of Attraction practitioner and instructor makes it a little uncomfortable to talk with him. No matter what you say to him, no matter how much you try to lean him toward thinking that life isn’t so bad, he just gets frustrated and tells you how the world is going to end. He revels in blaming everyone else for what he calls “his rotten life”.

Usually when we have a family get together, he is unable to make it. He blames it on his car, or on his boss, or on his wife. It’s actually kind of a visualization joke with us. About a couple of weeks before we have a family event, we start visualizing a calm, serene, positive, and fun-filled family get together. We wonder if our certain family member will have gotten into a better space for the get together. We include our bemoaning family member in our visualizations but he doesn’t show up. He can’t stand to be around that many happy people.

I would love nothing more than to see him happy but I am not responsible for making him happy and I am not responsible for creating ‘his’ world. He

is responsible for making his own happiness and creating his own world.

There are a lot of people who blame others for the current state of their lives. How can someone else be responsible for another’s life? (Unless of course it’s a child/parent relationship)

It’s a hard pill to swallow but if you have a bad day, you are the one who created that day. It’s not necessarily intentional, but all the same, you do create it. It is usually created from past images and feelings that you previously put out and have returned as your ‘now’. Take responsibility for your feelings and what you are focusing on and create each day, the kind of day that you would like to live for the rest of your life.

Take responsibility when you blame someone else in your life. Look at the situation and figure out why you are blaming someone for something in your life. Every action and every feeling that someone has toward you is a reflection of what you are or were feeling. You attracted this person or situation because of a feeling you were sending out to the Universe. When you start to play the blame game, you will attract more things to blame courtesy of the Law of Attraction. Take responsibility of your hard day and change it. Understand that changing your perception of others and loving yourself will attract more good things into your life.

It can be hard to believe that you somehow created your Aunt Suzy telling you that she saw your girlfriend with another man, and it can be hard not to blame Aunt Suzy or your girlfriend for your misery. But somewhere you were creating the vibrations that accompanied the scenario, whether it be that you were afraid of losing your girlfriend, or you weren’t trusting her, or you just outright felt bad. But blaming the other players in this scenario will not help your circumstance. This will only bring you more to blame others for. Does this mean you have to ignore your pain when hurt by someone? No, just make sure that you stay away from the blaming and take responsibility for your life. Change it to a life that you are happy with.

There is only one person who is responsible for your happiness and that is the person you see every morning in the mirror.

When you take responsibility for your thoughts and feelings, you will attain all that you want through the Law of Attraction.
