The Law of Attraction has been labeled as part of a New Age movement, and the labelers have said there is no grounding within the Law of Attraction or that it is just a way to escape from the world. They believe that we believe that all one has to do is to lay around and dream and it all shows up on the doorstep.

Nothing could be further from the truth. There is work to be done when applying the Law of Attraction, but the work is worth it.

Here are a few constants when it comes to the Law of Attraction, in no particular order.

Law of Attraction Constant #1: Be specific in what you focus on. Why does it matter? Because the Universe brings you exactly what you desire, or better. If you give the Universe a foggy picture, it will have to fill in the blanks, your desire will be not what you wanted but instead could be a distorted version of it.

Law of Attraction Constant #2: See what you want in the now. If you have a desire that you are focusing on and you see it in the future (Example: You visualize on a particular vacation you want and you see it happening in the future) then it will stay in the future. Visualize like you are living it or having it now. Then the now will become your future.

Law of Attraction Constant #3: Repetition. Visualize everyday. This is important. You want to keep a clear focused image of what you desire going at all times. Each time you visualize, your desire is being directed out into the Universe and the picture and vibration becomes clearer and clearer until the day it is physically before you. Repetition replete with the ‘good feeling’ emotions will bring you what you desire that much quicker.

Law of Attraction Constant #4: Don’t micro manage the Universe. When you live day to day and you think of your desires, make sure you only see the end result of those desires. The how should be left up to the Universe. The Universe knows all of the unknown ways to attract your desire to you. If you visualize but also try to create how it happens, than you are pigeonholing the Universe into just doing it your way. By doing this, it may take much longer for the Universe to match your vibrations. But if you let the how be taken care of by the Universe you can live in the knowledge that your desire is here now.

Law of Attraction Constant #5: Find your purpose, what you enjoy doing, and the money will follow. Most people want to focus on the money, money, money. There is nothing wrong with that, but an easier method (and far more fulfilling method) to acquire money is to learn what your purpose is in life. Discover what you enjoy doing. Ask the question: What would you work at 24-7 and still enjoy? When you find what you believe your calling is, opportunities will come knocking at your door with the requisite financial answers. Find your purpose. The purpose doesn’t have to be spiritual in nature; just find what you love to do and could do everyday and make money at it which will allow you to take care of everything you desire in life.

Law of Attraction Constant #6: Living in joy. It’s true what they say: Money won’t bring you happiness. Be happy first and the money will follow. When you say that you will be happy when you have money, you’re implying that only money will make you happy. Live in the joy of life now. Be happy and grateful with your life now. Find small things to be grateful for if you have to. You can live in happiness before your big windfall arrives. And by living in joy now, you are creating a joyous future because all of your ‘today’ thoughts are creating your future life.

These constants are merely the tip of the iceberg as it pertains to the Law of Attraction. It takes time and some deconstructing of your past, then the reconstruction of your current thoughts to attract what you desire, but it is worth the effort in order to have the life you truly deserve.

Have you wondered why you haven’t yet attained what you desire through the Law of Attraction? Have you been performing all of your Law of Attraction duties yet still haven’t gotten exactly what you have wanted? Let’s talk a little about how your desires manifest on a time line.

A lot of people think since they are visualizing, keeping the faith, showing gratitude (to name a few) that surely by now, after two weeks, they should already be living in the Bahamas and drinking the pretty little drinks with the paper umbrellas. The Law of Attraction takes a little mental work for everything to gel just as you want it.

If we were immediately given everything that came to mind, we would be in a heap of chaos. Think about some of the fleeting thoughts you may have had; there are obvious reasons why every thought doesn’t manifest immediately. (Remember the elephant in the movie, The Secret?) But how exactly does the Universe work to attract to you what you have been visualizing?

The Law of Attraction works like a garden. You obtain your seeds (desires) and plant them in the ground. Once those seeds have been planted, they are not going to grow without water and food are they? Water (visualize) your seeds everyday. But what if you forget to water those seeds for a couple of days? Simply, they are just going to sit there and do nothing, and if you gave them just a little sunlight and a little water (not enough attention) they would be weakened and not strong.

Or what if you have a day where it is raining so hard (tough day) and your seeds almost float off in the heavy rainwater? It can be hard protecting (from the cynics) your seeds and keeping the faith. You know that those seeds are going to push through the ground and become full blown flowers (manifested desires). You care for them and nurture them and let the Universe take care of them and know that beneath the ground are budding flowers just ready to come up. You’re excited and can’t wait to see those wondrous flowers bloom but you also know that they will pop out of the ground when they are healthy and ready.

You get small signs that something is going on. There is a teeny weenie plant leaf (sign from the Universe) peeping through the ground and your faith builds. You know that the little flower will be out soon but you still leave it to the Universe because you know that it will take care of your seeds.

Then one day, after the seeds have matured and grown, you see a sprout come out of the ground. Once that sprout is up, you still have to water (visualize) the budding plant (manifesting desire) to keep it alive. Then one day in spring, you go outdoors to water your little plant and it has become a beautiful flower (manifested desires) and it is more beautiful than you could have ever imagined. If the time had not been taken to care and nurture this flower it could not have lived without you or the Universe but if you continue to water it, your flower will stay beautiful and healthy.

It’s important to give the Universe time to create your desire and just know, like the little seeds, that your desire will come up out of the ground and turn in to a bloom that was even better than you had imagined. Like the beauty given from a colorful spring garden, it’s worth the wait.

Law of Attraction Question 5: The store parking lot is full. You ask the Universe for a front parking spot and one becomes available and you snatch it up. You:

A. Think it’s a coincidence

B. Are surprised that a parking spot came up

C. Knew a spot would be available and thank the Universe

Law of Attraction Question 6: You’ve been visualizing a perfect mate for yourself. He/she has certain physical features and qualities you want. At the movies, you meet a person that meets all the requirements you specified for a mate except isn’t at all like the physical you visualized. You:

A. Can’t believe your rotten luck; he/she was almost perfect

B. Don’t think you’ll give it a chance, it’s not exactly what you wanted

C. Give this person a chance because you know that the Universe always gives you exactly what you want or better

Law of Attraction Question 7: There is a long line at the post office and you’re at the end of it. You:

A. Sigh and complain to everyone around you that it is taking way too long

B. Get tense and frustrated

C. See yourself at the front of the line quickly and then take the remaining time in line to enjoy a mini-visualization of what you want in life

Law of Attraction Question 8: You have been visualizing a new car for yourself and you finally get it. You:

A. Can’t believe how much money you had to put down to get it

B. Start worrying about how you’re going to make the payments

C. Thank the Universe for the car and know that you can visualize anything and it is yours, including car payments

Law of Attraction Question 9: You go to the doctor and find out you have high blood pressure and he puts you on medication. You:

A. Call your best friend and tell her that, for the rest of your life, you’ll

be on medication for your high blood pressure because you know

that it will never go away

B. Go home and cry. You’re scared you’re going to have a heart attack

C. Take your high blood pressure medication and start a positive visualization of how you are in perfect health with normal blood pressure without medication, and trust the Universe to bring you what you want

Law of Attraction Question 10: You’ve been visualizing for many weeks. You have had signs, here and there, from the Universe telling you that it is working on your desired visualization. You:

A. Are impatient and frustrated, it’s taking way too long to get what you

want

B. Aren’t sure if the signs you are getting are big enough to constitute it

being a sign from the Universe

C. Are living joyously, knowing that your desire is here now and

you’re grateful for many things in your life everyday

If you answered with mostly A’s you are in some serious Law of Attraction trouble. Find someone who can impart the knowledge you’re lacking and get started right away. You’ll want to immediately break some of the mental behavior patterns that can slow you down.

If you answered with mostly B’s fear seems to be your primary challenge. Remember that fear is the thief of dreams. Work on overcoming your fear through the Law of Attraction.

So you’re just living your wonderful Law of Attraction life and…bingo! You start to have one of those days. You can’t even imagine that you created such a day for yourself but here it is, staring you in the face. The kids are sick, the dog just threw up on the carpet, and your boss is calling you every five minutes to find out when are you going to be there. Here are a few tips on how to handle one of those days the Law of Attraction way.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. When a day comes where you simply can’t fathom that you had anything to do with attracting, relax and don’t blame yourself. Somewhere along the line some thoughts and emotions of yours created this particular day, but by just recognizing that, you can change your future days. The key is how you handle this one. Pamper yourself. Listen to some music that will put you in a better emotional space, or find yourself a treat and just spoil yourself.

Ride the rest of the day with balance. If you can’t get happy, just ride out the day. Stay in a zone where you can remain as serene as possible. When something seemingly bad happens, don’t react. Does this mean you have to be an unemotional stone? No, just don’t react to your day. Stay as centered as possible and let it all roll off your back.

Grab a small notebook and write a thankful log. Find things to be thankful for. This will raise up your vibrations and help you pull out of your hard day. Write down each thankful thought you have. It can be as simple as that you had enough milk for the cereal that morning. Find anything to be thankful for and you will see that there is good in your day.

Change the outcome. When you have unwanted experiences over and over again in the same day, and you would love to change them, then change them. Revisit the experiences in your mind and change them into how you would have wanted them to have turned out. This will help the Universe to realize that you are changing all the ‘hard’ in your days and will imagine them better. The Universe will pick up on this and your future days will be ‘hard’ free.

Find little signs from the Universe that, even though you are having a tough day, prove the Universe is still working on your desires. Signs and indicators are a great way to know that you are not alone. The Universe is there to provide all that you desire as long as you focus on what it is that you want. The Universe will provide what you focus on, even if it is a ‘don’t want’ but it is always there to give you what you focus on. Do your best to start your day over again if it seems to be starting out rough. You can start your day over and over again throughout a day. You can always have a great day if you make the conscious effort to have a wonderful day.

And if you just can’t seem to pick yourself up, float. Instead of swimming against the current just stop swimming and float into a space that you are comfortable with; a place where your desires await you. Just relax and let go, because as you know tomorrow is another day to create and the Law of Attraction will always help you out with creation.

Concentrate on the good days versus your hard days, and you will soon notice many more good days. And your hard days will disappear through Law of Attraction application.

With the Law of Attraction (better known as the Secret) becoming more prevalent these days, there are greater numbers of people wanting answers to their questions. Here are a few of the more common questions (and answers) that we have been asked about the Law of Attraction.

What if I apply the Law of Attraction wrong?

There is no right or wrong way; there is only the way that is right for you and the way that works for you. Not every method works the same for everyone. You will have to try applying the Law of Attraction in the way that feels right for you.

Why do I have to visualize every night? Isn’t once enough?

The more you see and feel what you desire, the clearer the image that the Universe will have to attract back exactly what you want. If you visualize once then expect your desire to manifest, the Universe has just a tiny piece to “work with.” The more you repeat the visualization, the more the Universe has to go on and the image becomes stronger and clearer.

How can I feel positive?

It’s true that your combined thoughts and feelings cause the Law of Attraction to begin manifesting. If you are having a hard time feeling positive, try this. Say positive words that mean something to you, over and over again. Saying positive loving words over and over raises your mind’s vibration, and by doing that you are already getting into a better vibrational space.

I only have so much money. How can I make more money through the Law of Attraction when I’m on such a strict budget?

One word: unlimited. If you put limits on yourself and your financial situations, you will continue to experience limits. By stating that you have a strict budget, you are creating limits. Even though your perception sees a strict budget and can’t fathom getting out of the situation you are in, you can break free. The Universe is unlimited in every way, shape, and form. Just see that you are making unlimited amounts of money, don’t worry if you don’t know how that will happen, just see the end result of unlimited money and the Universe will start attracting people and situations to you that will move you in the direction of your desire. Remember, keep your eyes on the goal, not the how. The Universe will take care of the how.

How can I tell that the Universe is working on what I desire?

Ask for signs from the Universe. There are no small signs from the Universe. Any sign is just as important. Signs are encouragement from the Universe which let you know that the Universe is “on it” and taking care of your desires.

I need help. I want desperately to have a meaningful relationship. How do I go about it?

Let’s start with the lack words. Your question sounds desperate which is a strong emotion that you don’t want to attach to a search for a relationship. It’s not the words that cause lack; it is the emotions attached to them. Try concentrating on what you do want in a relationship, not what you don’t want and directly let the Universe know what you want in a significant other. No need to worry about physical form at the moment, just concentrate on the qualities. Then hand it over to the Universe and let it go to town. By not giving the Universe specific physical details, it has a much better chance of finding people with the qualities you want. Micro managing the Universe doesn’t work well. See your end result, minus the lack, and give the how over to the Universe.

When applying the Law of Attraction, it always comes back to you and your perception. Everything and everyone you encounter in your life, you have intentionally or unintentionally attracted into your world.

You may be saying to yourself, “There is no way that I attracted that mean old man who yelled at me for passing him on the road.” Believe it or not, at some time you produced an emotion that attracted that experience to you. And it didn’t take just one thought and one feeling to cause the experience to attract to you. It came from a repetitious thought and feeling over time. Everything that comes into your world is always attracted from a thought and feeling that you are possessing or have possessed.

When you experience a day when everyone seems to mirror the same kind of mood, whether crabby or happy, frustrated or serene, take a look at yourself. People who are in your life whether for just a moment or everyday, are a reflection of what or who you are attracting. All that we are, in fact, is a direct result of what we have thought.

Is there any control over where our lives are lead through the Law of Attraction? Yes, there is. Begin to take responsibility for your life. Realize that you have created everything that is in your life, and that it is just as easy to create a life that you want.

By looking at what is around you, you are able to tell what direction you are headed through the people that come into your life, and by how you react to them. You can also tell which direction you are headed by the situations that seem to be attracting to you as well.

Let’s say you have been maintaining a clear image of a fulfilling relationship. During your visualization time you continually get interrupted by some negative feelings and thoughts of your old flame, and his or her bad habits, but you continue to visualize.

The next week you discover your e-dating service connects someone who is interested in meeting you. So you hook up the date and you go and meet him/her. Ten minutes into the date you realize that she/he is just like your old flame.

Now this is pretty obvious. By what you are attracting you are not heading in the right direction. Sure, you were visualizing clearly but with muddled feelings of an old relationship thrown into the stew pot. The Universe is letting you know that you are attracting what you are thinking and feeling and this is what you are attracting. The great thing about this scenario is that you receive a clear indicator that you want to build some better feelings and thoughts for your clear image.

Be aware of what the Universe is telling you and indicating to you and adjust your thoughts and feelings accordingly. Every incident, every person, every circumstance all comes back to you.

Take your clear image and create clearer, more wonderful feelings to go with that image. When you leave behind all the past events and people that have had a negative pull on your life, you will attract people free of that negative pull. But you must first start with yourself. Take inventory of what feelings and thoughts you want as much as the ones you don’t, and stick to a clear image. Then take notes from the Universe when it shows you that you have attracted something you don’t want.

Become clearer in your image and feelings of what you do want. You can’t go wrong if you listen and see the indicators that the Universe gives as it steers you to where you want to be. The Law of Attraction never fails.

Can forgiving someone help you to apply the Law of Attraction intentionally?

Do you have someone that you have a hard time with? Maybe someone who is always late every time you see them? They end up being at least an hour late no matter what the situation. You have a hard time forgiving them for being late and you start to build resentment. All these strong feelings are signaling the Universe to bring you similar feelings back to you. In this case, a resentful feeling. Not forgiving someone can actually slow down the process of obtaining what you want through the Law of Attraction.

Twelve years ago a traumatic experience happened to me. Someone tried to strangle me. The hardest part of this experience was that it was a family member (by marriage) who tried to end my life. At the time, he was on testosterone and had an undiagnosed bi-polar/schizophrenic condition. But even so, this incident traumatized me and my then eleven year old daughter. We handled it as best we could while getting restraining orders, going to the doctor, filling out police paperwork, and taking my daughter to a counselor to help her through the scary experience of seeing her own mother strangled. I had been sheltered by my parents all my life and nothing like this had ever happened in our family. This was no time for forgiveness.

This incident happened before I understood the Law of Attraction and forgiveness was not on my list. My brother-in-law went to jail and I figured my sister would leave him after she saw what he was capable of. I didn’t need to forgive him; he wouldn’t enter into my world ever again. I was wrong. He served his time and my sister went straight back to him. This was something that I would have to deal with. He wasn’t leaving my life and I decided I was not going to be around my sister or her husband ever again.

Not long after this incident I began searching for answers in my life and found the Law of Attraction. What an incredible find! Here was the answer to attaining what I wanted in life.

To intentionally apply the Law of Attraction, I learned that I had to deconstruct who I was and my belief and behavior patterns and build brand new ones. This was going to be exciting. Then I realized that I was going to have to deal with ‘the incident’ and somehow rid myself of the feelings I was harboring.

The incident had left me feeling angry and hurt. My sister hurt me by going back to this man and I was angry with myself for not fighting back. I was hurt from the mental anguish it had caused my daughter, and me, not to mention the physical pain I had experienced after the attack. I felt like this man had taken some of my personal power away. So applying the Law of Attraction, while harboring all these feelings, was going to be an issue. I knew I had to lose the feelings and the only way I knew how was through forgiveness.

You see, it isn’t just about your forgiveness of another. When someone hurts you, it isn’t just you. It is your spouse, your children, your parents, and anyone who is close to you. When you have all those strong angry and hurt emotions it affects everyone. Not to mention instigating emotions of fear.

Apparently my brother in law got help for his bi-polar issues and he stopped the testosterone. This made it a little easier for me to remotely consider forgiveness. Who does the forgiveness help? Out of anyone, it helps the victim. Because once you forgive, you are no longer a victim. I decided that I was going to forgive him, but not the act. My logical mind could handle a little forgiveness for him but not for what he had done. This was a start.

But let me tell you this. When I completely forgave the act and the person, I felt like a new woman. I no longer felt like a victim. I felt like I took my power back and not only that, I felt like I fought back by forgiving. When I released all the hurt and anger and decided I didn’t need it anymore, I could see clear once again. He had nothing on me. It took a little time to release the welled-up emotions but over time, I did.

No more anger flashes, no more hurt flashes. I ‘let go’ of this situation because I am no longer about the woman who was strangled. I am much more than that, and in order to get past that traumatic experience, I had to forgive for myself so that I could move on.

When you don’t forgive someone, you are only hurting yourself. All those angry, scared and hurt feelings are keeping you from being all that you can be in life. It doesn’t mean that you have to hang out with the offender, but it is important to get rid of those strong negative emotions; the ones that could be keeping you from your desires when too much focus is put toward the negative emotions.

Do you have someone you want to forgive?

It is freeing to forgive another, no matter what hurtful act was done. By truly forgiving someone you can move forward in your life. Get beyond ‘the incident’ and ‘let go’ of the strong negative feelings. Concentrate on who you really are and concentrate on your wonderful life without ‘the incident’. Don’t let ‘the incident’ be a crutch to enable you to feel bad. Become a forgiving person and you will soon find that it will be a lot easier manifesting your desires when applying the Law of Attraction.

Be careful with your thought. Your thought will realize even good or bad. So rather than thinking of bad things which have the same probability to realize in your life, it will be more wise for thinking of good things, or more better the excellent and outstanding things in your life. 3. They don’t follow up with proper action. Visualization should be followed by action. You have to put yourself a distance closer to your goal. Just visualization is like an empty day dream. You got to work on your goals so that your dream will materialize. At least you have to be around in the surroundings and environments that support and strengthen your goals. Do not go to the opposite surroundings and environments that will irritate and weaken your goals.
Now let’s get into the parts of correct visualization method to make the law of attraction works. Here are the 5 steps of visualization that you should follow and do which surely make the law of attraction works.
The 5 steps to make use of visualization are as follows :
1. Prepare yourself and your environment. Find a quiet environment which has not busy and loud noise as it will distract you from visualization and it will not succeed. Slot your time and schedule to do this every single day. Sit comfortably on the chair since you are going to be on it for 20 minutes.
2. List out all your goals that you want to fulfill. You are supposed to write our goals down. In every aspects, such as financial, spiritual, physical and relationship. Take a look at the goal and memorize it. Do it one at a time, not one time for all goals. You also can make your master goal which already contains of other goals and stick on it.
3. Visualization with your closed eyes will be more effective as it reduces disturbance from the environment. However if you are already expert, you can do it with open eyes as well. Focus on your goals, one at a time, imagine what you want to happen. See it as it is really happened in front of you. Do visualization yourself that you are the first person in your picture of mind and things happen to you. If you can’t do it yet, you may also do visualization yourself as a third person and you witness those things happen and the law of attraction works on the person in the picture.
4. Make the picture or event that you see clear. The clearer the picture, the better the law of attraction will work and the better the result you will get. Make your picture a color picture, big and graphic in front of you. Put the life into that picture and make visualization as it really happens in front of your mind at that moment.
5. Do the visualization at least 20 minutes one time. You can repeat these visualization steps twice a day to accelerate the law of attraction. You can also use subliminal sound accelerator which will greatly enhance your result. It is scientifically proven that the sound will stimulate your subconscious mind and bring into your success.

Many people are beginning to practice the "€secret" Law of Attraction. From corporate professionals to home care nurses, people in every profession are discovering that the Universal Laws can work for them. But what happens when it doesn’€™t work? Here are some reasons that the Law of Attraction might not be working for you and what you can do to resolve them. The Law of Attraction – simply visualize for ten minutes per day, and you’ll have your heart’s desires, right? If it were really that simple, your kids would have more toys than you could fit in your house! There are several components to using the Law of Attraction successfully, and several reasons you might not be getting the success you’d like. Here’s where some of my clients get caught up. Visualization is just one component of using the secret Law of Attraction successfully, and it’s important to do it in a certain way. When you visualize, it’s best to do it from a focused or meditative state. You really want to be clear about what you want, so you need to limit distractions. As you visualize your new house, make sure you put yourself in the picture, and this is vitally important – take note of how having that house would make you feel. Maybe you visualize yourself in your new living room, snuggling in your brand new overstuffed chair in front of the fire with a cup of soothing tea. Do you see how that creates a powerful feeling? Or maybe you visualize yourself in your crystal clear pool, playing ball with the kids, laughing and creating memories. This is a completely different feeling, but still very powerful. So, you’ve got the visualization down. You’re ready for your dreams to manifest themselves, right? They might, but what if they don’t? What went wrong? You may have some tangled energy around the thing that you desire. For instance, you visualize that beautiful new house, and you really feel it…but deep down, somewhere in your old belief system, you just don’t think that you’ll be able to afford a house that beautiful. And every time you visualize your beautiful new house, you feel a distant twinge of disbelief that works against the Law of Attraction, pushing that dream away. Or, maybe you do believe on all levels that you can have this house, but it’s just not manifesting. You may be sending mixed messages through your visualizations. If one day the house is blue, and the next day it’s yellow, you’re not being consistent and clear, and what you will get may not really be what you want. Make sure that you decide what you want, then be clear on the details and stay consistent. Are you missing opportunities? I’ve had clients who have had the answer staring them right in the face, and because they had a certain idea about “how” they should get that new car, they totally missed an opportunity. They decided that this car would come from a certain car dealer, and they imagined getting the keys and driving it off the lot. When one of their neighbors was left the same car in a will, with less than 10,000 miles, they put a for sale sign on the car. But that wasn’t the picture my client had in their mind, so they ignored that opportunity – which would have given them what they wanted, and at a much better price! Keep your eyes open – things may come to you in ways entirely different than you are expecting them to! Faith. Faith is so important – keep believing…look for evidence that things are moving in the direction you want them to. Sometimes thoughts pop up in our minds that are from those old, limiting beliefs. You have to learn to push them aside. Replace them with thoughts that are consistent with what you want, with what you are using the Law of Attraction for. Realize that thoughts are just thoughts…they are not necessarily the truth. Recognize them as just being energy….and you can change that energy. Align all your energy with your visualizations and you will be attracting and manifesting quickly and powerfully. Act. I’ve had people come to me about the Law of Attraction – saying they visualize every day – some of them for an hour! But they don’t get what they want. When I ask them what their action plan is to achieve their goal, they just look at me with a blank stare. Action is important! The Universe needs you to help bring about the situations and conditions that will allow it to fulfill your desires. If you sit at home and visualize meeting the man of your dreams…but you never leave the house, what opportunity are you giving the Universe to give you what you want? Take some steps – go shopping, go to the park, get out and meet some people. Don’t sit at home and expect your new love to drop down the chimney! Be open to inspired action – maybe you just feel like there’s something you should do…it may not even make sense to you at the time…you just get a sense that you need to take an action. That’s the Law of Attraction at work – guiding you into the perfect scenarios to make what you want become a reality.

If you try to think of having all that money, you will be constantly reminded by your subconscious that you’re broke. The key is to have your mind completely relaxed. There is no better feeling.

 

       When your mind is completely relaxed, you are in harmony with your inner spirit. When you are in harmony with your inner spirit, everything you want will flow to you like the Mississippi river.
